Aloha Ohana is a company that deals with the promotion of cultural heritage, the enrichment of tourist products with cultural content, the analysis of the archaeological potential of the area, the study of cultural landscapes and travelling to the past.
A key member of the company is dr. Alja Žorž. archaeologist, caver, researcher and storyteller. Alja is constantly moving through space and time and sees her life mission in transmitting and exchanging knowledge about our ancestors and preserving the natural and cultural heritage. She has more than 15 years of experience in conducting archaeological research, promoting cultural heritage, entrepreneurship, working with young and old, and studying the past. In addition, she has become a master chauffeur, speaks five languages and loves cats.
Dr. Alja Žorž developed the product Caveborn experience on the basis of a ten-year research, where she studied the impact of caves on humans and perception, with individual volunteers who spent 24 hours in one of the caves.
